Center of the Universe

I actually had a guy say that about here, and I guess in some ironic way I can see how: because it is so multicultural it seems like the whole world is here. However it is in a NYC context so that seems to nullify the whole thing. I don’t know, what would the center of the universe look like? It’s funny but after I had been here a few weeks it seemed like Halifax was the center- I have always tended in that direction, whereever I was, was the periphery. Being here and considering the reputation of NYC as the center forces me to make a major shift really, ha.
